Ken Martin

The history of our club is more than our achievements. Each year, we have an internal competition for the Ken Martin Cup and each year I think of him. Last year I met an old colleague, Dave Bates, at Frodsham and it was as if we were back in 1991. Even if a little older and a little fatter; myself anyway. I suppose I might have won more trophies had I played for another club, but I wouldn't swop all the honours in the world for the people I've met and the good times I have had. It has been a pleasure and an honour to have played for my club. To have been part of its' history.
