First Team crush Atticus 2

The First team have produced an emphatic win against Atticus 2 to retain their 100% record so far the season. 6.5-1.5 the final score. In fairness to Atticus the scoreline maybe flattered us slightly as a number of games could have gone either way. Nevertheless this is an excellent result against the team regarded as our nearest challenger for the title. Roger had an impressive win with black on Board 1 while Nick had an early edge in his game that brought home the win. Andreas won a sharp position and there were also wins for Rob and Steve. Ian's position seemed worse but he held his nerve to frustrate his opponent and a draw was agreed. Brendan and Peter drew the other two games.
