Our Knotty Ash Team have been knocked out in the First Round by Prescot. Captain Bill left himself out of the team to give newcomers James and Owen a chance to prove thier worth. James drew but Owen was unlucky to lose after holding the advantage towards the end, his inexperience getting the better of him. Henry and Phil Lavin also lost and there was a draw for Alan on Board 3. Final score 4-1 to Prescot.
